Can you give a place zero stars? I boarded my two dogs there for 5 days -- nothing new to my dogs except the place; they're used to boarding -- and they came back very tired and sick. Not normal for any other boarding experience we've ever had. When I picked them up, they tried to charge me for an extra day. They had also bathed both dogs, and laundered their blanket. I hadn't payed for baths, and especially not for a blanket wash, so I knew that they must have gotten sick. When I asked, they only said well there's nothing on the chart about that. I know my dogs and I know when they've been sick! Why else would someone take home and wash their blanket and they get free baths? I can't believe they wouldn't 'fess up. I'll never use this place or recommend it to anyone! Also, they argued with me about how much food my dogs should eat -- which is probably why they got sick, now that I think about it.

I had to take my Mother inlaw to Dallas for a few Dr. Appts. we were gone for 4 days. We decided to Leave our 5 year old Beagle and 1 year old Great Dane there. They were supposed to get baths and their nails trimmed while there. I showed up about 2 hours early to pick them up I ended up waiting an extra 30 min because they had not trimmed their nails. Our Great dane had a blanket she has slept with since we got her as a puppy. I bought it in with her so she had something soft to sleep on same with the beagle. When I looked over our GD Her elbows and knees were raw like she was stuck in a kenel that was too small and like she didn't have her blanket. I will not leave them there ever again. The vets in the hospital are great but the boarders are not very good.

I have been happy the 3 times we have visited Abilene Pet Regency. We had 3 different doctors working together on the problem we had and all of them were so caring. The prices are great, too!
